What is Forged Fitting?
Forged pipe fittings are high-strength components used to connect, branch, or seal pipelines in harsh industrial environments such as high temperature and high pressure. Material Properties of F347
F347 is a niobium (Nb) stabilized austenitic stainless steel designed specifically for high-temperature applications. Similar to F321, the stabilizing element "niobium" added to it can preferentially bind with carbon when the material undergoes high temperatures (425-850 ° C) or welding, thereby inhibiting the precipitation of chromium carbide and effectively preventing intergranular corrosion. This allows F347 to maintain excellent corrosion resistance without annealing treatment after welding, making it very suitable for welding structural components that require long-term service in high-temperature environments.
